Getting Hacoo spreadsheet orders to Paris and the rest of France: TVA, the new duty and French agent habits

France: modest Hacoo searches, strong agent habits

France's Hacoo spreadsheet searches are smaller than Spain's or Germany's, about 210 a month in Semrush data for 5 October 2026. Its agent habits are distinctive, though. In the keyword data we use, France is the leading market for BBDBuy, LoveGoBuy, Basetao and RizzitGO, and joint leader for HipoBuy. With agent habits that strong, French Hacoo shoppers often face the "app or agent?" choice.

Fewer Hacoo searches, more agent loyalty.

TVA and the flat duty

France charges 20% TVA on imports from the first euro. For IOSS parcels up to €150 it's usually collected at checkout. From 1 July 2026, the EU adds a flat €3 customs duty per item category on those parcels, a temporary measure due to last until July 2028. A parcel with jeans, a jacket and a cap pays €9 in flat duty; three pairs of identical socks pay €3. Above €150, standard customs duty applies.

Look-alike domains

France's agent popularity attracts look-alikes. The clearest case is bbdbuy.fr, registered in March 2025 and scored 0/100 by ScamAdviser, set against the real bbdbuy.com. Type agent addresses yourself and bookmark them. Hacoo is easier here, since you install it from the app store, where the developer is named; see our Hacoo app page.

Choosing a route from France

For one or two items, Hacoo's checkout and 15-day return window after delivery are simplest. For hauls, an open agent with a duty-paid line lets you check items first. Compare in our calculator, read Hacoo vs agents, and see neighbouring rules on the Germany and Spain pages. Our WhatsApp service delivers to France at one quoted price, paid per order.

Hacoo for a piece or two, an open agent for the haul.

For parcels heading outside mainland France, such as to overseas departments, check the line's coverage first; many standard lines serve only the mainland.

France delivery questions

How long does Hacoo take to deliver to France?

Hacoo's shipping page lists 3–5 business days of processing and 15–25 days of delivery to France, the same as for the UK, Germany and Italy. The EU help page adds up preparation, shipping and final delivery to 15–28 days. These are Hacoo's estimates checked on 5 October 2026; split shipments can arrive on different days.

What tax applies to Hacoo orders in France?

France's standard VAT rate, TVA, is 20%, applied to imports from the first euro. On parcels up to €150 sold through IOSS, it's normally collected at checkout. Since 1 July 2026, those parcels also pay a flat €3 customs duty per item category. Above €150, standard customs duty rates apply instead, and the carrier may collect tax on delivery.

Which agents are popular in France?

In the keyword data we use, France is the top search market for BBDBuy (about 18,100 a month) and LoveGoBuy (12,100), joint top for HipoBuy (18,100), and the leading market for Basetao and RizzitGO. If you use BBDBuy, type bbdbuy.com yourself: a look-alike .fr domain registered in 2025 scored 0/100 on ScamAdviser.

Does the €3 duty apply per item?

No, per item category. The Council of the EU's rule applies €3 to each distinct tariff category in a low-value IOSS parcel: three identical T-shirts are one category, a T-shirt and a pair of trainers are two. So a parcel of varied items pays more flat duty than one with several of the same thing.

Is it worth using an agent instead of Hacoo from France?

For bigger, mixed orders, often yes: you see warehouse photos before shipping and pay international shipping once. For one or two items, Hacoo's single checkout and 15-day return window after delivery are simpler. Compare actual totals with our calculator using the line price your agent quotes for France. French buyers who already use BBDBuy or LoveGoBuy will find the comparison quick.
