CNFans has closed: rescuing its spreadsheet rows, and deciding between Hacoo and another agent

Last updated .

Short answer: CNFans shut down in August 2026, confirmed by its owner according to the rep.tools directory; its newest Trustpilot review is dated 19 August. Its spreadsheet rows still point at Taobao, Weidian and 1688 items, so they can be moved to any open agent with our converter. Former CNFans users, many of them in Spain, Italy, Germany and France, can also buy simple items in the Hacoo app instead, trading warehouse photos for a single checkout.

What closed, and what didn't

CNFans the agent closed in August 2026. What didn't close are the products in its spreadsheets. A CNFans row was always a wrapper around a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 listing; the seller is still there, the item number still works, and any open agent can buy it. That distinction matters because CNFans spreadsheets were huge. In the keyword dataset we use, CNFans drew about 60,500 monthly searches in Spain, 49,500 in Italy and 40,500 each in Germany and France: the same countries where Hacoo is popular. Many of those buyers are now holding lists that look dead but aren't.

Rescuing CNFans rows

  1. Paste a row into our converter. If the link holds a marketplace address, you get links for up to 13 agents.
  2. Pick an agent marked open on our status list.
  3. If the converter can't read it, search for the long item number inside your new agent, or run an image search on the row's photo, as in the Hacoo-to-agent guide.
  4. Re-check price and availability; listings change.

Most rows are one paste away from a working agent link.

Hacoo as a simpler alternative

Some former CNFans users never needed an agent's full toolkit. They bought a few pieces at a time and found the warehouse, photos and two payments more hassle than help. For them, the Hacoo app is a genuine alternative: you pay once, Hacoo ships, and you have 15 days after delivery to return something. Hacoo quotes 15–25 days to Germany, France and Italy and 15–30 to Spain after 3–5 business days of processing. The catch is that Hacoo sells its own listings; your CNFans rows won't open there, and you'll be shopping the app rather than your old list. Our Hacoo vs agents page lays out the trade-off.

Light, occasional buyers may be happier on Hacoo; haulers need another agent.

Choosing a replacement agent

Former CNFans users usually want three things: no headline service fee, free photos and familiar payment methods. Among agents marked open on 5 October 2026, HooBuy lists SEPA, Sofort, iDEAL and Blik, MyCNBox is reported to include a short video with its photos, and KakoBuy gives 100 days of storage. Test whichever you choose with a small order before moving a whole list. Our calculator compares any agent's totals with Hacoo's.

Test a replacement small before trusting it with a full haul.

The lesson: pay per order

The buyers hurt most by closures are those with money in an agent wallet or items waiting to ship. Whichever route you choose next, pay for each order as you place it and ship hauls promptly once they're complete. If you're owed money by CNFans, document your balance and use your payment provider's dispute process where you're still inside its window; ignore anyone offering paid "recovery". If you'd rather not set up a new agent at all, our WhatsApp service quotes one delivered price and you pay per order. Spanish buyers can read more on the Madrid page.

Never store money with an agent; closures don't give notice.

A sorting plan for a big CNFans list

Large CNFans sheets can hold hundreds of rows. Don't convert them all at once. Sort first: put the rows you actually want this season in one tab, convert those, and check each listing is still live. Leave the rest as an idea board. Rows that won't convert keep their photos, which an image search can use later. This keeps your next agent order small and current, rather than a bulk transfer of stale links.

Convert what you'll buy now; keep the rest as ideas.

CNFans questions

Is CNFans really closed?

Yes. The rep.tools directory reports CNFans shut down in August 2026 with the owner's confirmation, and rechecked that status on 22 September 2026. Its site may still load in places but takes no orders. Its Trustpilot profile, with 4.1 from 13,294 reviews, shows no review after 19 August. Unlike some earlier agent rumours, this closure was confirmed.

Can I still use my CNFans spreadsheet?

Yes, as a list of items. Each CNFans row points at a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 listing, and those listings don't depend on CNFans. Paste each row into our converter: where the link contains the marketplace address, it gives you links for up to 13 open agents. Check the listing is still live and the price still matches.

Which agent replaces CNFans?

There is no single replacement. Former CNFans users often look for 0% headline fees, free photos and local payment methods. Several agents marked open on our status list advertise no service fee, offer free QC photos and accept methods such as iDEAL or BLIK. Compare two or three, then test the one you prefer with a small order paid per order.

Should ex-CNFans users try Hacoo instead?

For simple purchases, it's worth considering. Hacoo is an app store, not an agent: one payment, one parcel, and a 15-day return window after delivery, with no warehouse in between. You lose the photos of your item before it ships. For one or two light pieces, Hacoo is often simpler; for big mixed hauls, an open agent usually fits better.

I had money in my CNFans wallet. Can I get it back?

Contact CNFans through any official channel still working and keep every message. If you paid by card or PayPal recently enough to be inside the provider's dispute window, file a dispute with screenshots of your balance and orders. Beware of people offering to recover balances for a fee; that is a common follow-up scam after closures.
