Germany's place in the Hacoo world
Germany is the second-largest Hacoo spreadsheet market we checked, after Spain: about 1,000 monthly searches for "hacoo spreadsheet" in Semrush data for 5 October 2026, plus 260 for "hacoo spreadsheets", 140 for the 2025 version and 70 for "hacoo spreadsheet men". German shoppers are also heavy agent users: in the keyword data we use, Germany is the top market for Oopbuy, LitBuy and joint top for HipoBuy. That makes the Hacoo-or-agent question a common one for German shoppers.

Einfuhrumsatzsteuer and the €3 duty
All imports into Germany pay import VAT at 19% from the first euro. Under the EU's IOSS scheme, platforms selling parcels worth up to €150 usually collect it at checkout. Since 1 July 2026, those parcels also pay a flat €3 customs duty per item category: three identical hoodies count once, a hoodie and trainers twice. Above €150, normal duty rates apply instead of the flat €3.
If VAT wasn't collected at checkout, the carrier collects it on delivery, often with a handling fee, or the parcel goes to a Zoll office. The Zoll's own guidance for private buyers explains when that happens.

Customs and trademarks
German customs can detain goods suspected of infringing trademarks, whichever platform they came from. We don't list such items. For unbranded goods, a correctly described parcel with VAT collected passes routinely.

How long do Hacoo orders take to reach Germany?
Hacoo's shipping page lists 3–5 business days of processing and 15–25 days of delivery to Germany, the same window it gives the UK, France and Italy. Its EU help page breaks the journey into preparation, international shipping and final delivery, totalling 15–28 days. Multi-item orders can arrive in more than one parcel.
What import tax applies in Germany?
Germany charges import VAT, Einfuhrumsatzsteuer, at the standard 19% rate from the first euro. For parcels up to €150 sold under the EU's IOSS scheme, it is normally collected at checkout. Since 1 July 2026 there is also a flat €3 customs duty per item category on those parcels. Above €150, normal customs duty rates apply.
Why might Zoll hold my parcel?
German customs, the Zoll, holds parcels when import VAT wasn't collected at checkout, when paperwork is incomplete, or when goods may infringe trademarks. You may then need to pay at the carrier or collect from a customs office with proof of purchase. Choosing a line that collects VAT and duty upfront avoids most delays.
